The safety and security of our guests is paramount to the team of the Riverside Boutique Resort.
- For safety and security reasons, only registered guests are permitted to use the guest rooms and facilities. Unregistered visitors are not allowed in the guest rooms after 10:00 pm.
- To guarantee your privacy, the resort staff is instructed not to provide information about registered guests.
- In accordance with the law, gambling and drugs are strictly prohibited in all areas.
- The resort reserves the right to refuse entry to the resort premises to animals/pets, highly flammable or explosive articles and firearms.
You are advised to use the Safe Deposit Box in your room to store your valuables. The Resort will not be responsible for any loss of cash or valuables not deposited in your Safe Deposit Box.
As a precautionary measure, please review the location of exits and fire fighting equipment on your floor after check-in.
IN CASE OF FIRE
- Remain calm
- If it is safe, press “0” on your telephone and inform the operator.
- Stay low in smoked-filled areas as smoke rises and there is fresher air close to the floor.
If the fire is in your room:
- Leave the room and close the door.
- Keep your room key card with you at all times.
- Stay away from the building.
If the fire is outside your room:
- You may decide to stay in the safety of your room to await instructions from resort management or emergency services.
- Place wet towels under the doorframe to ensure smoke does not seep into your room.
- Fill the bathtub with water to have a water supply.
- Turn off your air conditioning.
- Dial 0” to let the resort personnel know your location.
If you decide to leave your room
- Take the key card with you in case you need to return.
- Touch the door handle and frame with the back of your hand to see if they are hot. If they are not, open the door carefully, keeping as low as you can.
- Go to the nearest safe place away from the fire.
SECURITY
- While in your room use the safety latch.
- Your door is fitted with a spy hole.
- Always ask who it is before opening your door.
- Always use the in-room safe for any valuables / laptops, etc.
